What is hosting?
Websites are simply documents, stored in folders and these folders need to sit on a server that is open to the world so people can see them. So these servers hold many websites and cost money to purchase and maintain. Rather than open up company servers to the internet, space on dedicated servers that can handle many connections can be hired for a very small fee, this is referred to as hosting.
Emunet hosting
We don’t have dedicated either, we pay for an allocation of space so we can have hundreds of websites hosted for us. It’s a bit like buying in bulk, we can offer a best price to our customers, with the added benefit of all of our sites being hosted in the same place on servers we can trust.
Price
Hosting isn’t expensive, but it can vary. We charge a yearly fee, but you’re not tied to us hosting for you, we’ll happy move your site onto your own hosting service, note: there can be charges attached to transferring domains between hosting services.
